Biography

Born and raised in Winnipeg, Manitoba, my winters were spent on the hockey rink and the summers spent at many of the surrounding lakes. I received my BA from the University of Western Ontario and my BSc from the University of Manitoba. My medical training started at Rosalind Franklin University of Medicine and Science in Chicago, Illinois where I obtained my Doctor of Podiatric Medicine. Upon completion of my medical degree, I did my residency at Presence Saint Joseph Hospital in Chicago and was appointed Chief Resident of the Podiatric Surgery Residency Program. After residency I was accepted for fellowship at the University of Louisville in Louisville, Kentucky where I specialized in Diabetic Limb Preservation and Foot Reconstruction. I will be working at the Peter Lougheed Center with clinic also at the Richmond Medical Center. I am very excited to be a part of the University of Calgary and to return to Canada. I look forward to collaborating with other members of the Department of Surgery on future research projects.
