Our feet, made up of 26 bones and 33 joints are quite complex. Though we often neglect or overlook these parts of our body, they provide us with mobility and balance to help us go through our every day lives. On a daily basis our feet receive a significant amount of pressure and over time are quite susceptible to injury.

In addition to injury, our feet can also be negatively impacted by health related issues that may not always be associated with the foot. Often our feet are actually the first part of the body to indicate diseases such as Neuropathy, Peripheral Arterial Disease, and Rheumatoid Arthritis. So be proactive and get into the habit of paying attention to your feet to help prevent disease and maintain your overall health.
